Lined with green fields and bright pastures, take quiet country roads down to the local village of Clawdd Poncen (2.5 miles) to embark on a picturesque walk along the River Dee and into the depths of the valley.

From here, the vivid Clwydian Hills invite endless circular hikes and cliff-top summits, with Moel Morfydd (9 miles) and the Horseshoe Pass (10.5 miles) offering views that go on for miles from their towering vantage points. Unearth unforgettable scenery along Denbighshire's World's End (14 miles) before joining the Offa's Dyke Path for an excellent waymarked route.
