Kayaking in the magical wildlife haven of the tidal Fowey River can be arranged from Lerryn or Golant, both within 6 miles. Drive 8 miles to Fowey at the river mouth, a must-visit seaside town nestling in its steep natural harbour – you may see the amazing sight of a large ship arriving, seemingly with only inches to spare, as you enjoy fish and chips at a welcoming waterside pub.
