Kewstoke, Somerset - Sleeps 4

Accommodation details

This outstanding coastal property, which has been beautifully renovated in 2024, is nestled on the edge of Weston Woods and offers uninterrupted views of the sea, and across the water to the South Wales coastline, up to Clevedon Pier and beyond. Accessed via 43 steps from the old Kewstoke Toll Road, the property overlooks Sand Bay, a hidden gem of a beach which is dog friendly all year round and a short walk from the property.

At the other end of Sand Bay is the National Trust’s Sand Point, a beautiful peninsula and nature reserve with more magnificent sea views, perfect for picnics, wildlife spotting and beach cast fishing. Located in Kewstoke village, the local pub, restaurant and village shop are all within 500 metres of the property.

Enjoy miles of woodland walks through Weston Woods (20 metres) or catch the Coaster open-top bus into nearby Weston-super-Mare (2.5 miles) to visit its world-famous Grand Pier, the old Birnbeck Pier, shops, theatres, cinemas, museums, bars and restaurants. Whilst you are here, why not visit the seaside town of Clevedon (11 miles), Cheddar Gorge (12.5 miles), and Wells (22.5 miles) with its striking cathedral.

Bristol city centre and waterfront are also easily accessible by car (23.5 miles) or train (Worle train station 2.7 miles). Step inside this detached single-storey property and you will immediately find yourself in an entrance hall which leads to all rooms. The lounge is made for relaxing with family and friends, with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and fabulous far-reaching sea views.

The kitchen/diner is very well-equipped and has all the facilities you will need to cook a lazy breakfast or a delicious feast. There is also a useful utility room with washing machine and freezer. There are two beautifully decorated bedrooms: a king-size and a twin room. Completing the accommodation is a contemporary shower room. Head outside from the front door and onto the enclosed porcelain terrace, here you will find outside seating which makes a lovely spot for your morning coffee or some al fresco dining whilst watching the sunset over the bay.
