The 18th-century copper mines, once the largest in the world, should not be missed and the small harbour from where the copper was shipped is delightful. Nearby, the pretty village of Cemaes is well worth a visit with sandy beaches and a small variety of shops and eating places to sample. Should you tire of the coast (who would?!) the magnificent Snowdonia is only a 45-minute drive away.Accommodation Summary
