Offering a blend of countryside living with added indulgent touches such as private jacuzzi baths, a woodburner oven, and included golf buggy access, this lodge is well-suited to families, friends, or couples travelling together, welcoming up to six guests with a maximum of four adults.

Step up onto the spacious decking, where outdoor living takes centre stage; settle into the rattan seating with a morning drink, sway gently in the hammocks, or gather around the picnic table as you watch deer roam the landscape. As the day winds down, enjoy the use of two jacuzzi baths beneath open skies, followed by an evening beside the shared firepit with the neighbouring lodge, creating a relaxed setting to end the day. Inside, the open-plan living space provides a sociable hub, where two sofas invite you to unwind in front of the TV/DVD after exploring the surrounding grounds.

The kitchen is equipped with essentials for mealtimes, including a hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster, while the dining table offers seating for six to enjoy meals together. The lodge hosts two king-size bedrooms providing restful spaces, alongside two cabin beds suited to additional guests, and a shower room with shower, basin, and WC completes the layout.

With only two lodges on site, guests can immerse themselves in a nature-led stay, with the opportunity to observe deer being fed by the herd manager and learn more about the animals. Dogs are welcome and catered for with beds, bowls, and essentials, while local footpaths begin right from the park entrance, inviting walks straight from your doorstep.

Amenities including pubs, shops, and local facilities can be reached with a short drive or a longer stroll from the lodge. Head to Bow where you can enjoy The Waie Inn with its sports facilities, indoor play areas, and dining options, or visit Taw Valley Brewery to sample locally produced drinks. Nearby Okehampton offers access to Dartmoor National Park, home to striking tors, walking routes, and horse riding opportunities, along with independent shops and heritage sites.

Slightly further afield, Crediton presents historic architecture and countryside walks, while Exeter boasts its cathedral, quayside, and a wide range of eateries and cultural attractions. For days by the sea, the North Devon and Cornwall coastline provide sweeping beaches, coastal paths, and waterside activities within reach for a varied day out.
