BishopÂ's Castle Barn is a superb, detached stone cottage just 1.5 miles from BishopÂ's Castle, next door to the ownersÂ' home, and can sleep four people. The cottage has a lower ground floor double bedroom with an en-suite shower room which is accessed down 4 steps, a ground floor king-size double bedroom (zip/link, can be 2Â' 6” twin on request) with Jack-and-Jill access to the main bathroom, a first floor kitchen with dining area and 4 steps leading up to a mezzanine sitting room with a sofa bed for flexibility.
There is also a heated drying room at the front of the property, ideal for drying off wet coats and boots. Outside there is off road parking for one car and further parking is available in Bishop's Castle if required. There is also an external bike rack and a cleaning area, along with elevated decking with furniture and a barbecue.

Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. First floor kitchen with dining area and four steps up to mezzanine sitting room with sofa.

Electric central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher. 1 x TVs with FreeSat, 2 x Smart TVs, DVDs and WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking for 1 car, plus further parking available in Bishop's Castle.
EV charging (additional 45p charge per kw payable directly to the owner). External bike rack and cleaning area. Elevated decking with furniture and barbecue.Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops 1.7 miles, pub 1.2 miles. Note: Four internal steps down to en-suite double bedroom and four up to mezzanine sitting area and external steps to decking, care to be taken.
Note: Property accessed via 0.1 miles along an unadopted sloping track; this track also provides access to owner's home. The track may be unsuitable for vehicles with low ground clearance. Note: Owner can offer a pick-up service from local train station for walkers and cyclists on request. Note: Guests can order a Sainsbury's or Tesco delivery to be delivered to the cottage prior to arrival, please contact the owner directly to inform him of this and for more information.
Note - If there are sheep in the field surrounding The Barn, they have access to the parking area.
