Set on the owner's farm, and ideal for walkers and nature lovers following the Cleveland Way, this stylish retreat offers beautiful far-reaching country views from its bright and welcoming first-floor lounge. Entering this cheerful cottage, you will be greeted by a traditional farmhouse-style kitchen/diner with plenty of equipment, a central dining table and ample additional seating.

There's also a ground-floor shower room and a peaceful twin bedroom. From the kitchen, stairs lead up to the first floor and directly into the spacious lounge which opens up onto a sweet balcony overlooking the farm and surrounding countryside. The first floor also has a refreshing bathroom and the second bedroom - a pretty double room with a dressing table, wardrobe and a skylight set in the low sloping ceiling.

Stepping outside, the enclosed patio has a picnic table and seating, offering a wonderful spot to sit back, dine alfresco and take in the glorious surrounding rural views. The beautiful North York Moors offer miles of breathtaking walks with popular destinations including The Wainstones (6.5 miles) and Ingleby Incline (11 miles).

To the south, you can head to the historic Rievaulx Abbey (9 miles) or the National Centre for Birds of Prey (11 miles). Also to the south is the popular market town of Helmsley (11 miles), which has some fantastic places to eat and drink and is home to the ruins of Helmsley Castle with a history dating back over 900 years.
