Wonderfully located less than a mile from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, spend days at the beach before relaxing at your home from home. This cosy abode has all you need to stay entertained throughout your stay, with the shared facilities at the neighbouring holiday park providing a real treat.

After days fossil-hunting and dipping the sea, refresh yourselves with some lengths of the heated pool, or steam away the day in the sauna whilst little ones enjoy the play area. Sleeping six guests over three rooms, whisk family and friends away for a holiday to remember. Step inside and find yourself in the kitchen where you can fill the cupboards with ingredients and rustle up delicious feasts.

Pop the kettle on and take a brew into the open-plan lounge/diner where comfortable, reclining sofas welcome you to sink down and the TV/DVD caters for lazy afternoons and film nights. When dinnertime arrives, plate up at the dining table or step outside and descend a step to the patio where you can enjoy al fresco banquets and sundowner drinks.

With a ground-floor wet room, a bathroom with shower over the bath and an en-suite, there are plenty of places to rinse off or to enjoy a relaxing soak before you head to bed. The three bedrooms offer tranquil places to drift off, with one double residing on the ground floor and the master king-size and the twin room located on the first floor.

Take care of sloping ceilings upstairs. There is ample off-road parking. Pack up a picnic and head to the local beach at Charmouth which sits less than a mile from your door. Spend family-friendly days in the sand and sea, or head further afield and explore one of the many bays and coves which dot the fabulous surrounding coastline.

A 3.5-mile journey north will take you to the National Trust’s Lambert’s and Coney’s Castle, a pair of hill forts steeped in history and starting points for brilliant walks.
