Occupying the main wing of a Georgian house, this lovely property is perfect for a multi-generational family holiday, sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms. Situated amidst open fields in the lush Cornwall countryside, with estuary views from some of the bedrooms, the house is within easy reach of the shops and cafes of Wadebridge (2 miles), as well as the popular local towns of Bodmin (6 miles) and Padstow (10 miles).

Ideal as a place for spending quality time together, staying in is as much fun as going out; the property has its own snooker room, and private access to the heated outdoor swimming pool. Available to splash and swim in from May to October, the pool even has a separate shallow end, so children can paddle with ease. The interior of this beautiful Georgian house boasts a wonderful amount of space for bringing everyone together.

A bright entrance hall welcomes you inside, from where you can head into the kitchen/diner. A range cooker and plenty of countertop space makes cooking for a large group manageable, and the room is the perfect backdrop to special family dinners, with large windows for lots of natural light and a charming ornamental red brick fireplace.

For heat and a warming glow on cool evenings, turn on the flame-effect electric fire in the lounge. Housed in a rustic stone surround, with the TV set above it, get comfortable on one of the sofas and armchairs gathered around and enjoy a film night, play games, or simply relax. Alternatively, burn off extra energy by challenging each other to a game of snooker in the lower ground-floor’s stylish snooker room.

(Please note, children must be supervised in here.) Upstairs, soak and unwind in a hot bath or shower before a good night’s sleep. There are two double bedrooms – both with a four-poster bed – and two twin bedrooms for you to choose from. Outside, dine alfresco on the decked seating area, or light the BBQ if the weather is good.

Younger guests can roam the enclosed garden and are sure to love the playhouse. Off-road parking is provided for several cars on the front gravel driveway.
