Wander along the cliffs in either direction for more dramatic vistas of the Jurassic Coast. Clamber down on to the rocks at Winspit Quarry for a dip.

Take children to swim at Swanage, 4 miles away, with its family-friendly sandy beach. Dine out in cafes and restaurants here too and take a stroll along the pier. For wilder sandy beaches try Studland Bay, 9 miles away.
