Head to the local launch and book a cruise on Derwentwater or make a splash and hire stand up paddleboards and kayaks so you can set off and explore at your own pace. Step inside the property by descending ten steps to the front door. Finding yourself in the entrance hall, leave boots and bags behind as you make your way into the kitchen for a warming cup of tea.
