You'll be 1 mile from the nearest pub and 2 miles from Newport, the island's main town.

The inside is decorated in a clean and modern style, with its contemporary kitchen part of a spacious open-plan living area. You'll have comfy sofas and a Smart TV for gathering around a film in the evenings, plus a dining table and chairs where you can enjoy leisurely holiday meals.

Outside, there's a private garden with outdoor furniture and a BBQ for sizzling up a feast on warm evenings. Get some drinks and snacks in and make the most of this peaceful space, with a shared garden also available for if you fancy mixing with other guests. If it's chilly, settle in with a book or perhaps run yourself a nice hot bath in the pristine bathroom.

When you're ready to venture outside this 50-acre site, you can head into Newport where you'll find plenty of shops and restaurants. A little out of town there's a golf course and the medieval Carisbrooke Castle (both 3 miles). If you're keen to be out in the sticks, make a beeline for the chalk downlands, heathlands and meadows of the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (3 miles).

The Blackgang Chine theme park (10.5 miles) will be popular if there are youngsters in your party, while the seaside resorts of Ryde (5 miles) and Sandown (7.5 miles) make wonderful days out.
